Born in 1971, Niël Jonker is known for his editions of figurative sculptures in bronze, while also producing plein air landscape oils. The artist is known for a monthly interactive workshop focusing on natural processes through sourdough breadmaking practice. Recent work explores the notion of vulnerability through an ongoing series of terracotta sculpture titled "Fragile beings".
