Roberto Vaccaro, born in 1991, is a South African metal sculptor who began his artistic journey in 2009, inspired by the Garden Route’s natural beauty. Mentored by his grandfather, sculptor Vincenzo Vaccaro, and influenced by his father, Dr. Vittorio Vaccaro, Roberto refined his skills, earning a scholarship to the Michaelis Fine Arts School in 2013. Transforming discarded metal into bold sculptures, he specializes in wildlife and human forms, blending sustainability with artistic expression. His work honours the balance between nature and humanity, pushing the boundaries of metal sculpting.
